Chinese Auction, hotel style in NC

We had a blast, even at the hotel! Since there was a huge ice storm before we got to NC, mom had no electricity... plus our luggage was still in Dallas. So Christmas night we finally arrived at 10pm and got all set up for bed. Then Saturday, we hung out waiting on our bags. Ate lunch and then readied all for the Chinese auction. It was so much fun!! IT was great to see Papa open the purple pedicure set, Michael get a box with baby doll toys on it and freak out (or when he got magic cards), and KayLeigh's face when JJ got the Hollister gift card. Then to find out that all 3 of us (JJ, Sally and I), all put in Starbucks gift cards. All in all, it was just a great time with great family!

And Kyndahl got to get back up due to an allergic reaction to presoaped washcloths!!




And baby McKenna got to get up too since she thought she was missing too much fun!

Christmas Eve

We celebrated Christmas day on Christmas Eve. We had Santa come and did stockings and presents a day early. Kyndahl was so funny opening her gifts. She wanted to play with everything and not open more!! We had to keep making her come back so she could open everything!! And Kaylah just cooed the whole time! She was so happy the whole time and even helped open her gifts!

Then we headed to Grams and Papa B's house for Christmas presents and the Chinese Auction. Fun was had by all.

Christmas Eve, Eve

We made cookies for Santa and Rudolph. Kyndahl was so funny as she ate as many as we left out. We also spilt milk all over the floor as we carried it out! It was too cute! I will post a video soon!

Boot camp friends

Santa's Wonderland

Not nice to take pics with me after workout, but had to have one right!!Aren't they just too cute!! Kyndahl actually posed for a picture... she won't do that with her sister! Hugs goodbye!

Melinda, Jason and Katee came in on Dec 20th and we headed to Santa's Wonderland. We thought we would drive through so we all loaded up in our suburban... but then we saw the line! There was no way that all of the kids would make it through the line and then through the park, so we parked and went inside for the hayride!! We walked in and were amazed!! None of us had ever been and it was amazing! They had a "snow" machine blowing snow over the entrance door. Then "Elvis" was singing around the campfire! Kyndahl decided that dancing on the stage was great. Maddie and Katee rode the bull while we went to the petting zoo. We grabbed some food while in line for the hayride, then jumped on the trailer! It was awesome... Kyndahl LOVED every minute of it!!

When we got home, Reese, Matthew and Chelsea were there with Ava. Kyndahl LOVES Ava, can you tell!!

2yr Dr Visit...

Kyndahl had her 2 yr check up today. She weighs 26 lbs and is 34 1/2 inches tall. She is on the 50th percentile for weight and 75th for height... very steady since birth!! She had to get two shots... HORRIBLE! She was more upset than hurt and couldn't believe we would let Miss Heather hurt her! Makes my heart break to see her so sad!! But the sucker helped and she even got to pick to color!! But all night she kept asking for medicine to put on her leg, so Daddy put some "special" lotion on it to make it feel better!

Sister still said... "I can't want to see him"... and this one puckered out that lip!!

Christmas in the Park TAKE 2
